Experience the enchanting city of Venice from the comfort of your own cruiser. Watch glass blowing on the island of Murano, see lace made in Burano, and recline on the sandy beach at Jesolo. As you stroll through the narrow streets, discover antique markets, fantastic food, and ornate palaces. Admire the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, one of the greatest Venetian monuments of the Byzantine era in the city of Torcello. Perhaps switch vessels for the evening and enjoy a nice gondola ride under the Rialto Bridge. The National Park offers beautiful scenery and birdlife at the entrance to the Po River. This is a cruising experience that you do not want to miss.

- Our cruises are suggestions only – you can also create your own itinerary.
- All the locks and lifting bridges on the Venetian lagoon and surrounding rivers and canals are automatic. Briccole (wooden posts) mark the navigation channel for cruising.
- You can only moor in designated cruising areas. It’s best to moor up in public mooring places and take a Vaporetto (water bus) to popular tourist locations in the Lagoon.
- The Venetian Lagoon can be busy so some previous cruising experience would be advantageous. Distances and the number of locks/bridges will depend on the route you take in the Lagoon.
- Exclusive private moorings are available for Le Boat customers cruising in the lagoon. For which there is a compulsory 70UKP/80Euros/week or 45UKP/50Euros short break supplement for all customers to/from Porto Levante and Casale.
- Note: There is a very limited number of public moorings and private marinas which get extremely busy especially in peak summer months. In the Northern lagoon, towards Precenicco/Trieste there is wider availability of public moorings and marinas for overnight stays. No mooring supplement is payable for customers cruising between Casale and Precenicco.

FRUILI
The waterways in the Friuli region are mainly canal which are easy to navigate, with no commercial traffic. There are a few sections of river and some lagoons, such as the Marano Lagoon just south of our base in Precenicco, but navigation channels are clearly marked by wooden posts called Briccole. All in all, the area is just perfect for first time boaters. Plus, there's only two locks, which are both automatic and are managed by lock keepers
Canal banks along the sides are low which give excellent views of the surrounding countryside and villages and there are lots of cycle paths too, so you can head off to explore on two wheels very easily.

PO Delta
Break free from the canals and navigate the rivers of the Po Delta. This protected nature reserve is abundant with wildlife, enough to delight the nature lovers and bird watchers among you. It is also an area of great interest for its history. Here you can find evidence of glorious early civilizations - Greek, Roman and especially Etruscan.
